About Viña del Mar
Vina del Mar is a coastal resort city just north of Valparaiso, known as the Garden City for its well-kept parks and flowerbeds. The wide stretch of sand at Playa de Vina del Mar and the beaches around Renaca draw Chilean families each summer, and the seafront promenade is lined with cafes and apartment towers.
The floral clock, the Reloj de Flores, is the city's best-known photo stop, while Castillo Wulff sits on a rocky point over the waves. The Quinta Vergara amphitheatre hosts an annual music festival, and the Casino Municipal is a landmark in its own right.
